Who is Jordan?
Jordan Harrington is a Cambridge-based punting guide with deep roots in the city. Since 2021 he has led guided punting tours along the River Cam, specialising in the world-famous College Backs. Born and raised in Cambridge, he pairs expert local knowledge with a real passion for the city's history.
He navigates traditional punts while giving engaging, well-researched commentary on the University's historic colleges, its famous bridges, and centuries of academic tradition. Over the years he has guided more than 1,000 international visitors, for individuals, couples, families and small groups, with a focus on historical accuracy, storytelling and guest comfort. That trip-after-trip repetition is why the detail on this site is specific: which slot has the best light on King's College Chapel, where the river gets busy, and what makes a tour go from good to memorable.

What is Punting Tours Cambridge?
This is an independent local-knowledge guide to punting on the River Cam. It is not a single operator and it does not own a fleet of punts. Jordan guides on the river under several agencies, so the site can compare the tours honestly rather than push one company.
